Just found this and it is the best synopsis on Catherine Parr I have read. She always appears in accounts of Henry and Elizabeth’s doings but it great to read an article focussed on her and to understand who she was. Many Thanks

This was an account of Mary the First of England as well. Meg McGrath is very sensitive to Mary the First, Queen of England and that is why I loved this article and Katherine Parr was possibly one of the best of Henry the Eight’s wives. She took her role as Queen seriously and she was kind to the Princess Mary and loved her dearly. She knew that the Lady Maud Parr was a good friend unto Queen Katherine of Aragon.
